Juliette Hurel has won first prize for flute at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, and has been nominated in 2004 for the "Instrumental Soloist of the Year" category at the Victoires de la Musique Classique. She is considered one of the leading flautists on the international music scene. In demand throughout the world, she participates as a chamber musician in important festivals and plays as a soloist with various orchestras.
Her discography is rich and varied. Her latest album devoted to French women composers at the dawn of the 20th century, recorded with Hélène Couvert, was released in January 2020 by Alpha Classics. Since 1998, Juliette Hurel has been principal flute of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and teaches at the Rotterdam Conservatory (Codarts).
Juliette Hurel is a regular at the Rencontres Musicales de Noyers, where she is artistic advisor.

Each student will have three hours of lessons.
The masterclass is limited to 10 students.
This package includes the lessons, meals taken together with the teacher and the accompanist in a restaurant in the medieval town, accommodation with families in Noyers and connections to the stations in Tonnerre (89) and Montbard (21).
Each trainee will have free access to the concerts given during the course.
Juliette Hurel will be in concert on 16 July 2023.
2023 registrations will be open in February.

Each artist teacher is free to select the applications we send him/her, based on the CVs and recordings provided, within the limits of the places available. We will contact you.
As soon as the teacher has accepted your application, we will ask you to confirm your registration by paying the sum of 100€ corresponding to the compulsory membership of the RMN association (20€) and the registration fee of 80€. This payment will not be reimbursed if the student withdraws later. The balance (750€) must be paid by 16 June 2023 at the latest by bank transfer, cheque or holiday voucher.
